Associate Prof. Arthur Gogatz is a native New Yorker with over 20 years of experience in creativity consulting and advertising. He teaches creativity and innovation related subjects at the University of Nancy in France where he is currently also the Manager of International Projects at the Graduate Business School.

Prof. Gogatz has given seminars and university courses in more than 18 countries worldwide including: Australia, Belgium, Cambodia, Canada, China (mainland + Hong Kong and Macau), Colombia, England, France, Germany, India, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and Vietnam, in creativity enhancement, innovation, brainstorming, motivational studies, problem analysis, idea generation, communications flow and image consulting. He has teaching and research experience in Creativity & Innovation and Advertising, International Business Education, and International Marketing, Art conducts training and coaching seminars.

Besides the publication of articles on international marketing, service marketing and branding in journals and newspapers in Asia, (Hong Kong, Hanoi and Bangkok) Prof. Gogatz has authored or co-authored books on creativity and innovation including “Creativity: Leading an Army of One, Studies in Self Leadership (2010)”, “Business Creativity: Breaking the Invisible Barriers (2005)”, and “Unleash Your Power of Creativity (2003)”.

As a practitioner, he was a creative director at J. Walter Thompson in New York. He is also a co-founder of 18th Horse Creativity Group Consultants Ltd. and is a consultant in Creativity and Innovation, Brainstorming, Leadership and Motivation skills, Sales Management and Service Marketing. In November 2006, he gave public seminar under the title, “Unlock Your Power of Marketing Creativity” in Thailand and was greatly appreciated by the Thai marketing and communication professionals. In 2010 he gave two public lectures on creativity in branding organized by Brand Age Magazine in Bangkok
