The move of the NORDAKADEMIE to the new campus in Elmshorn provided the opportunity to reconstruct the flexible production line. At last there was enough space for a permanent PLC demonstration (programmable logic controller).
Now students can try out transport, work and storage processes to their heart`s content. Factory operations can be replicated and the complex interrelated steps (industrial robots, computer-aided workplaces, quality controls) in the various stages of the the production cycle can be linked together. In other words, a miniature factory at the NORDAKADEMIE.
