A Career in Computer Science and Business Management

Customised IT solutions – developed by an in-house professional.

Since information technology has become more and more important for companies to achieve their operational goals, the demand for skilled employees who combine IT expertise and business knowledge has also grown.

Owing to their multidisciplinary course of studies, graduate students in this field are able to recognise problems, create solutions and put them into practice. IT knowledge is just as important as understanding corporate business processes. Since FH NORDAKADEMIE collaborates closely with numerous companies, it can offer up-to-date and practice-oriented training at all times.

Educational objective - optimal deployment of IT.

The optimal deployment of IT in a company requires a close link-up of profound IT knowledge and substantial business skills in terms of procurement, production, selling and administration. Therefore, the course of studies is based on three main elements. First of all, computer science comprises the basics of modern IT. These basics are developed to focus on applied informatics such as Internet, SAP and databases. Secondly, business sciences provide an insight into economic aspects of the business world. Thirdly, a wide variety of seminars and optional subjects are offered to enable students to broaden their horizons. A practice-oriented dissertation concludes the Bachelor course. Students are awarded the degree “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Management”.
