NORDAKADEMIE offers an extensive range of foreign language courses. Since English is the major language in the business world, it is compulsory for all three degree courses and forms part of the final examinations. Furthermore, students of Business Science and Management and Industrial Engineering and Business Management have to take a second language, either French or Spanish.

In addition, French, Spanish, Japanese and Russian are offered as optional language courses as part of the studium generale.

As all of our language teachers are native speakers, students not only acquire language skills but also gain a deeper insight into the related cultural background. This is an advantage which is gaining in importance, both in industry and in society as a whole.

The courses are divided into different levels depending on previous knowledge and classes are held in small groups.

All participants have the opportunity to obtain international language qualifications, e.g. the LCCIEB Examinations in English for Business or the "certificado inicial del ministerio de cultura español" (a certificate from the Spanish Ministry of Culture).
