The seminars are organised by a committee of the NORDAKADEMIE student parliament and are administered and coordinated by Ulrike Heinrich (student support services).

The seminars and language courses available complete the range of compulsory and examination subjects in order to enable the development of soft skills, discuss current management issues and acquire specialised areas of knowledge.

Normally the seminars take place at the weekends. Every student must participate in some seminars to get a specific amount of credit points. In fact, a large number of students take advantage of this opportunity and sign up for far more than the required number of hours.

The seminar programme with more than 100 topics is continually updated and enlarged, often at the suggestion of the students. For example, it has been possible to learn Japanese since 2002.
