To be able to work internationally, foreign languages are a central part of the undergraduate programmes at the NORDAKADEMIE. To enable students to acquire good language skills, foreign language modules are offered both as compulsory courses and electives.
The language modules are held by native speakers, who not only teach their native language but are also in a position to share their knowledge of their own culture.
Classes are held in small groups, which are formed based on a student’s proficiency of the language.
It is also possible for students to prepare for internationally recognized certificates, for example, the Cambridge (ESOL) examinations or the Diplome de Francais des Affaires de la Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris.
Due to the overriding importance of English as a world foreign language in business, it is a compulsory module in the other bachelor programmes taught at the NORDAKADEMIE.
Either French or Spanish is a compulsory modul in the programmes Business Administration and Industrial Engineering; it is an optional subject for students of Business Information Technology and Applied Computer Science.
Japanese, Chinese and Russian are optional subjects as part of the Studium Generale.
