Information for all applicants

If you wish to apply to one of our study programmes, a so-called duales Studium, the first step is to have a look at the partner companies offering placements at NORDAKADEMIE for the desired starting year.

Every semester you will spend 13 weeks at our partner companies. It is therefore very important that you select carefully the companies you would like to work for. Make a list of those companies that suit your goals and aspirations best. After that, take the selection tests of NORDAKADEMIE. The tests consist of:

  • a personality test
  • a motivation test
  • a cognitive test
  • an intelligence test
  • an English test
  • a Mathematics test

You are also asked to enter the grades from the last four school reports or the last two years in the subjects Maths, English and your mother tongue. If you attended school in Germany or in a German school worldwide, you should enter your German grades.

Before you start the test, you should plan enough time and ensure that you are able to concentrate. It will take about 2,5 hours to complete the tests. Please, keep your school reports at hand.

The selection tests are assessed globally. That means that no specific test or assignment will lead to failure. Only if you “knock over” a whole series of hurdles, will you fail. You will be able to download a pdf of your results two to three working days after you have completed the tests and will see whether you were successful or not. Attach the PDF of your application to the partner company.

Applicants who want to pursue a degree in the fields of IT, Business Administration or Engineering are requested to go through the admission process in German since those degrees are only offered in German.
