The undergraduate programme International Business offers students a comprehensive blend of modules which help them develop understanding of the highly competitive international environment. Companies benefit from recruiting graduates who have undergone intensive in-house training and are therefore capable of working in many areas of the business from the very beginning, across both national and cultural borders.

The  programme covers the following areas:

  • Economics
  • Related topics
  • Elective modules
  • Studium Generale
  • Bachelor's thesis
  • Workplace practice

We also emphasise to train our students in information technology and the legal aspects of business.

Intercultural competence is a core competence in global business. As such, the programme International Business offers insights into how companies and their people function in different national and cultural settings. By studying entirely in English, students can achieve a good level of English language skills, and also develop competencies in other languages such as German, French or Spanish.

In the fifth semester students spend a semester abroad at a partner university and, as well as using their language skills, become familiar with the culture of the host country. The International Office is available to support and advise students. A semester abroad is an integral part of the study course.

Many international companies also offer their students the opportunity to do an internship abroad.

A degree in International Business will open up a wide range of employment opportunities in all sectors of the economy - particularly within an international surrounding.

Students and graduates report back on their experience of the NORDAKADEMIE.
