The Bachelor degree programmes are offered on the campus in Elmshorn, a town in Schleswig-Holstein just outside of Hamburg, whereas the Masters' programmes and training courses take place in the Dockland (central Hamburg), which is one of Hamburg's most prominent landmarks.

 

The NORDAKADEMIE is inviting applications from outstanding candidates for the following position:

 

Visiting Professor in Business Administration

- for a 6-month term from July to December 2020 -

 

specialising in one of the following areas: International Management, International Finance, Strategic Management, Human Resources or similar subject.

  • Teaching (in English) in the various NORDAKADEMIE graduate and undergraduate programmes.
  • Doing research in the area of expertise, ideally in cooperation with NORDAKADEMIE professors.
  • Supporting institutional development in the areas of study and research of the NORDAKADEMIE.
  • Candidates should hold a PhD in business administration, economics or a related subject and already be professor in their field of expertise at a renowned university outside Germany.
  • We expect a proven track record of outstanding teaching.
  • We further value a strong publication record and an ongoing commitment to high‐quality research in the field of expertise as well as practical experience in a corporate environment.
  • The applicant should be a native English speaker, knowledge of German is not required.

  • recent teaching evaluations,
  • documentation of work experience in business.

The salary is equivalent to the level of full-time professors employed at the NORDAKADEMIE. Additionally, the NORDAKADEMIE offers allowances for housing and travelling, depending on the successful applicant's country of residence.
